California-based photographer Karen Abad recently went to Indiana to visit friends and, because it was so cold outside and everyone just wanted to hunker down in the warm indoors, they decided to get creative. Using her friend’s baby, Olivia, as the inspiration for the playful little series, Abad and Olivia’s mom, Cristina, developed crafty backgrounds to reflect many popular television shows.
They dressed up the cheerful little baby in outfits similar to those of many lead TV show characters like Hannah Horvath (Girls), Khaleesi Daenerys Targaryen (Game of Thrones), and Francis Underwood (House of Cards).
The artist says, “She is the smiliest baby ever, so trust me when I say that it was extremely difficult to get her to not smile. She was a great sport during all this and I really appreciate her letting us dress her up.” Olivia’s big brown eyes and cute “serious face” will definitely bring a smile to your own face and brighten up your day!
