The Blood Type Personality: A, B, O or AB?

Although it has never been scientifically proven, in Japan, it is widely believed that blood groups predict personality traits- from temperament to compatibility, to what kind of lover you are to what type of foods you should be eating.  Now, in this article, let’s have a look at whether your blood type reveals anything about your personality:

1 – Blood Type – A

People with blood type A are considerate to others and extremely loyal. They can be quite secretive and reluctant to share their feelings. They appear to have a calm front, but often will be stressed and self-conscious on the inside. However, despite those nerves, they can be depended on to be trust able and honest.
Personality traits: Conservative, introverted, reserved, responsible, patient, a perfectionist.
Worst traits: Obsessive, self-conscious, sometimes uptight and stubborn.
Type A diet: Type A’s flourish on a vegetarian diet. Many people find it difficult to move away from the typical meat and potatoes to soy proteins, grains and vegetables. But it is particularly important for sensitive Type A’s to eat their foods in as natural a state as possible: pure, fresh and organic.

2 – Blood Type – B

Type B personalities are empathetic, easily understanding others’ points of view, yet often hesitating to challenge or confront. They make good friends as they are flexible. They are the practical ones. They tend to be individualist going about their ideas and their rules. To add to that, they stick to their goals and focus their attention until it is finished. However this may come out to others as being selfish and irresponsible.

People who are B blood type have a different set of characteristics than people who are Type O or Type A – they are susceptible to different diseases, they should eat different foods and exercise in a completely different manner.
Personality traits: Creative, flexible, individualistic, optimistic, passionate.
Worst traits: Forgetful and sometimes, irresponsible.
Type B diet: Type B’s have tolerant digestive systems but should avoid meats like chicken, beef and pork. Type B’s should avoid is chicken. Although chicken is a lean meat, the issue is the power of an agglutinating lectin attacking your bloodstream and the potential for it to lead to strokes and immune disorders.

3 – Blood Type: AB

This blood type is hard to predict. They have mixed traits of both A and B and can have characteristics of both at the same time. They are considered as potential hazards in their unpredictability. They do not like to fit in a certain mold, sometime purposely breaking out.

Type AB personalities tend to be very charming and popular. They are believed to be controlled by their heads rather than their hearts. They don’t sweat the small stuff and can be seen as spiritual.
Personality traits: Cool, controlled, introverted, rational.
Worst traits: Critical, indecisive, unforgiving and aloof.
Type AB diet: Type AB’s have a sensitive digestive tract and should avoid chicken, beef and pork but should enjoy seafood, tofu, and dairy and most produce.

4 – Blood Type: O

People with blood type O are viewed as outgoing, expressive and passionate. They are optimistic and tend to be the leaders and like to take control. They have an insatiable appetite for success and are not afraid to take risks or gamble. This is viewed as the “best” blood type. With goals, they can always get started, but having trouble continuing them to completion. Also they may be insensitive and arrogant.
Personality traits: Ambitious, self-confident, and robust.
Worst traits: Arrogant, insensitive, and vain.
Type O diet: Type O’s have the oldest digestive memory tract, so their fast metabolism will benefit from lean meats, poultry and plenty of fish. Type O’s are advised to restrict their grain and bread intake.
