Mother Daughter Duo Create Incredible Dresses Using Papers

[quote_box_center]Look out, fashionistas! It’s Project Runway for the Preschool Set! Last May, 4-year-old “Mayhem” (as she is dubbed by her mom) and Mom Angie began creating dresses out of construction paper, tissue paper, wrapping paper, gift bags, aluminum foil and scraps.[/quote_box_center]

Mom says creating each dress and outfit is a joint effort with Mayhem doing her fair share of cutting and gluing as well as picking out accessories and colors, learning about dress-making and even helping photograph the dresses. Mayhem even creates some of her own dresses entirely, and we’re not surprised by her fresh and saucy take on fashion- just check out her expressions and her attitude. Along with recreating dresses from Project Runway and the red carpet, Mom and Mayhem are refreshingly green in their own original fashions by upcycling all sorts of materials, even including old travel magazines for a recent creation! We love the way this crafty Mom brings her style-loving daughter intothe process and lets her creativity shine! It’s safe to say our own box of art supplies and recycling is starting to look a lot more interesting with these fashions as a guide…
